<div itemprop="description"> <p> <strong> Martin, Charles Bradley &quot;Brad&quot; 30 - of Cole Harbour passed away on May 1, 2012 after a brief but very courageous battle with cancer surrounded by his loving wife and family.&nbsp; Born in Dartmouth, he was the son of Vanessa (Dares) and the late Charles Anthony Martin.&nbsp; He was a kind, thoughtful and loving husband, son and father.&nbsp; He will be sadly missed and forever remembered by his wife Melissa (Fleming), his son Charlie and brother Craig, mother and father in-law Michael and Ellen Fleming, brother&rsquo;s in-law Andrew (Lauren Oostveen) and Thomas, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.&nbsp; Brad was an avid golfer, and worked at Hartlen Point Golf Course for several years as a teenager. He also loved hockey, playing hockey in Cole Harbour for many years. He was a huge Montreal Canadians fan. He also enjoyed the outdoors, travelling, and NFL Football.&nbsp; Most importantly Brad loved spending time with his son Charlie who was the light of his life.&nbsp; Brad graduated from Auburn Drive High School in 1999 and then went on to receive a Bachelor of Commerce from Saint Mary's University. Brad started his career with the Bank of Montreal in Cole Harbour. He then moved to Fredericton where he worked for NBIMC and Enbridge Gas NB.&nbsp; After moving back to Nova Scotia in 2010, Brad was able to enjoy being a stay-at-home Dad with his son Charlie for a few months before beginning work with Heritage Gas where he was employed as a business analyst. Brad was very close to completing his CGA, which he had worked on diligently over the past four years.&nbsp; The family would like to extend thanks to Dr. Morzycki and his team for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at the Atlantic Funeral Home 771 Main Street Dartmouth on Friday May 4, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.&nbsp; A Mass of Christian Burial will take place in Pope John Paul XXIII, Colby Drive Dartmouth at 10 am. on Saturday May 5, 2012.&nbsp; Interment Dartmouth Memorial Gardens.&nbsp; Followed by Reception in the Oceanview Room at Atlantic Funeral Home.&nbsp; If you wish, donations can be made to the Medical Oncology Floor of the QEII Victoria General.&nbsp; Online condolences may be made at www.atlanticfuneralhomes.com. </strong> </p> </div>
