<div itemprop="description">Richards, Arthur William, age 91 of Dartmouth passed away peacefully on December26, 2016 at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born on April 17, 1925 he was a son of the late Wallace and Nina (nee: Taylor) Richards. Growing up in Newfoundland he played Saxophone in the CLB Marching Band and in later years in Dartmouth he sang with the Barber Shoppers choir. He spent his career with CIL and retired at age 65. <br>Arthur is survived by daughters; Janet, Rosalind (Randy) Mann, son; Geoffrey (Deb), grandchildren; Lisa Curtis, and Ryan, Great grandchild; Kye; several nieces and nephews. <br>Besides his wife Barbara, Arthur is predeceased by his brother; Jack and sister; Valera. <br>Cremation has taken place under the care of Atlantic Funeral homes in Dartmouth and a private family service will be held at a later date. <br>Donations in Arthur’s memory may be made to The Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation. <br></div>
